It would be impossible for a project of this sort to be launched without the combined efforts and participation of many individuals and groups of people. First and foremost, I want to thank the people of Greensboro and Hale County for welcoming a psychiatrist from southern California to become part of their community and for teaching me many important lessons about life.
The support and generosity of others towards Horseshoe Farm, our Fellows, the women in our housing program, the Community Clubhouse, and towards me has been truly overwhelming. It would be impossible to list all the people and organizations who have contributed to or supported Horseshoe Farm, but I will always be deeply grateful for the support, time, hard work, and generosity given by our community and so many friends of Horseshoe Farm.
I want to thank my family and friends for their support and for listening to me talk about Project Horseshoe Farm way too much over the years.
The good that comes of this project is dedicated to all of my teachers and to the people of Greensboro.
